Park Cleanups

Forest Hills Playground's last event of 2018 was the December 1 playground cleanup. More than 25 adult volunteers and more than a few kids grabbed rakes and brooms, swept up sand and leaves, picked up trash and broken toys, and gave the playground a good scrubbing.

Our first event of 2019 is the spring cleanup on Saturday, April 27 from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Sign up here to help out, or to help the helpers!

Forest Hills Park is part of the Rock Creek/Potomac/Chesapeake watershed, so everything you do to help keep our park trash free also protects local streams, rivers and wildlife.
